Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar
  • nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
  • melted margarine - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • cans sweet potatoes, drained and mashed - 2 item

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. flour1/2 c. melted margarine1 c. chopped pecans Stir 2 tablespoons melted margarine into mashed potatoes, then stir egg mixture into potatoes. Spoon into greased casserole.

Topping: Combine ingredients in order given. Sprinkle on top of potatoes. Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes. (Freezes well.)
