Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- coconut - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine, softened - 3/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- dash of cinnamon - 1 item
- 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
- cornflakes
- cans sweet potatoes, drained - 3 oz
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:2 c. cornflakes1 1/2 sticks margarine1 c. pecans1 c. brown sugar2 c. coconut Dissolve cornstarch in milk. Mix milk mixture, sweet potatoes, sugar, margarine, eggs and cinnamon together with mixer. Spread in 9 x 13-inch baking dish and bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and top with topping. Bake an additional 15 minutes.Topping: Mix together cornflakes, softened 1 1/2 sticks margarine, pecans, brown sugar and coconut. Spread over sweet potatoes.
