Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar
- margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- plain flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- mashed sweet potatoes - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1/2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. chopped pecans1/4 c. plain flour2 Tbsp. margarine In a mixing bowl, beat sweet potatoes, sugar, cinnamon, milk, butter, eggs, salt and vanilla until smooth. Transfer to a greased 2-quart baking dish.In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, pecans and flour. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle over potato mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 45 to 50 minutes.
