Ingredients/Components

  • mashed cooked sweet potatoes - 3 c
  • sugar or more if desired - 1 c
  • canned milk - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1/3 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla flavoring, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste - 1 tsp
  • coconut - 1 c
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • margarine, melted - 1/3 c

How to make sweet potato casserole:

Mix topping ingredients well and sprinkle over sweet potatoes. Serves 10 to 12.

This can be made ahead, but don't put topping on until ready to bake. Bake at 350° until brown, about 20 or 30 minutes.
