- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- self-rising flour - 3 c
- cooking oil
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- grated sweet potatoes - 2 c
- Add oil and vanilla; mix, adding eggs
How to make sweet potato cake:
Mix flour, sugar and spices. Add oil and vanilla; mix, adding eggs. Next, add pineapple, potatoes and nuts. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.Icing:1 stick margarine1 c. chopped nuts1 box confectioners sugar1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 tsp. vanilla Cream margarine and cheese; add sugar and vanilla.
