Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • nuts - 2 c
  • margarine - 1 c
  • white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
  • popped corn, sifted through so there are no kernels - 2 qt
  • pinch or 2 salt

How to make sweet popcorn:

Mix corn and nuts together. Cook sugar, margarine, syrup and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat; then turn down and continue to boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour over popped corn. Spread on a cookie sheet and let cool.
