Sweet corn bread

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• milk
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• margarine - 1/2 c
• cornmeal - 1 c

How to make sweet corn bread:

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and cornmeal. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture and 1/2 cup milk. Beat. Repeat twice. Pour in a greased 8-inch pan. Bake 40 minutes at 375°.
