Sweet corn bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- butter, melted - 3/4 c
- white flour - 2 c
- large eggs, beaten - 4 item
- coarsely ground cornmeal - 1 c
- rich milk or half and half - 1 c
How to make sweet corn bread:
Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and melted butter. Stir into the dry ingredients until they are thoroughly mixed.
