Sweet and sour wings
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- catsup - 3 Tbsp
- wings - 3 lb
- red currant jelly - 1/2 c
How to make sweet and sour wings:
Cut wing tips off; disjoint. Rinse and dry off. Salt. Heat oil in large frypan. Roll wings in cornstarch, then in eggs to coat evenly. Fry until crisp, about 5 minutes. Place on cookie sheet. Place last 7 ingredients in saucepan and simmer 10 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken wing.
