Sweet and sour vegetables
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- cans mixed vegetables - 2 oz
- can red beans - 1 oz
How to make sweet and sour vegetables:
Cook sugar, vinegar, flour and mustard until thick. Cool. Drain vegetables and beans. Add the chopped vegetables. Pour the cooked dressing over all and mix. Store in the refrigerator overnight. Will keep for 1 week when refrigerated.Recipe categories: Side dish, Onions, Green/yellow beans.
