Sweet and sour spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- spareribs - 2 lb
- to 3 drops red pepper sauce - 2 item
How to make sweet and sour spareribs:
Place ribs, meaty side up, in rack in foil-lined shallow pan. Mix remaining ingredients; pour about 1/3 cup sauce on ribs. Bake, uncovered, in 350° oven until done, 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting 3 or 4 times with remaining sauce.Recipe categories: Sweet sauces, Sauces, Savory sauces.
