Sweet and sour spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2/3 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 2/3 c
- dry mustard - 2 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- catsup - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- spareribs - 3 lb
- can chunk pineapple with juice - 1 lb
How to make sweet and sour spareribs:
Spread ribs in shallow baking dish. Brown in 425° oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Drain fat. Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick. Spoon sauce over ribs. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 45 minutes. Stir ribs andRecipe categories: Sweet sauces, Sauces, Savory sauces.
