Sweet and sour sauce
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- ground ginger - 1 tsp
- white wine vinegar - 1/4 c
- prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
- pineapple juice - 1/2 c
- crushed undrained pineapple - 1/2 c
How to make sweet and sour sauce:
Combine sugar and vinegar in small pan. Cook over medium heat. Stir constantly until sugar dissolves, remove from heat. Stir in mustard, ginger and pineapples. Combine cornstarch and juice; blend well. Gradually stir into hot mixture (stir constantly) over medium heat until smooth and thick.
