Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 3 tsp
  • water - 3/4 c
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • rolled oats - 3/4 c
  • white sugar
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
  • ground beef - 3/4 lb
  • onion - 1/2 tsp
  • garlic - 1/2 tsp
  • pork sausage - 1/4 lb
  • chestnuts, chopped - 1/4 c

How to make sweet and sour meatballs:

Sauce:1 c. white sugar3/4 c. vinegar3/4 c. water1 tsp. paprika1/2 tsp. salt3 tsp. cornstarch1 Tbsp. water Mix together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water. Put ingredients in pot. Use cornstarch and water to thicken before adding meatballs. Simmer for 30 minutes.
