Sweet and sour chicken
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - 4 item
- can pineapple chunks in juice, drained - 1 oz
- medium green pepper, cut in rings or strips - 1 item
How to make sweet and sour chicken:
Preheat oven to 350°. Shake flour in a Reynolds oven bag; place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Add sugar, vinegar and soy sauce to bag. Squeeze bag to blend in bag to coat chicken with sauce. Arrange ingredients in an even layer. Close bag with nylon tie. Cut 6 (1/2-inch) slits in top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Pineapple, Chicken, Chicken breast.
