Ingredients/Components

  • dry onion soup mix - 1 pkg
  • jar apricot preserves - 1 oz
  • bottle Russian salad dressing - 1 oz
  • to 6 chicken breasts or pieces of choice, skinned - 4 item
  • water poured in salad dressing bottle to rinse - 1/4 c
  • canned drained pineapple - 8 oz

How to make sweet and sour chicken:

Arrange chicken in baking dish. Mix all ingredients except pineapple together in a bowl. Pour over chicken. Bake, covered (with aluminum foil), for 1 hour at 350°. Remove foil and continue baking, uncovered, 1/2 hour. Drained pineapple may be added during the last 1/2 hour.
