Sweet and sour carrots
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- catsup - 1 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- carrots - 2 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 oz
- green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- large onion, sliced - 1 item
- can pineapple chunks, drained - 1 oz
- golden raisins - 1/2 c
- stalks diced celery - 2 item
How to make sweet and sour carrots:
Slice and steam carrots for 10 to 15 minutes; do not overcook. Mix soup, sugar, oil, vinegar, mustard and catsup in a boiler. Heat until thickened (10 to 15 minutes).
