Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 3/4 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- carrots - 5 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- basil, crushed - 1 tsp
- tomato soup - 1 c
How to make sweet and sour carrots:
Mix the last 10 ingredients and pour over 5 cups carrots, sliced, cooked and cooled, 1 medium onion, sliced into rings and 1 medium green pepper thinly sliced. Mix and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving. Keeps a long time in the refrigerator.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
