Swedish nuts

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• egg whites - 2 item
• stick butter - 1 item
• pecans

How to make swedish nuts:

Beat egg whites and gradually add sugar. Beat well; add nuts and vanilla. Melt butter in pan and add nut mixture. Spread in one layer on a cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
