  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • chopped onion
  • ground beef - 3/4 lb
  • dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
  • drops Tabasco sauce - 3 item
  • Mix thoroughly

How to make swedish meatballs:

With meat in bowl, add remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Shape into miniature meatballs; brown in skillet. When thoroughly browned, add to sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes. Pour into casserole and refrigerate. Bake at 350° for 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Serve with toothpicks.Swedish Meatball Sauce:3/4 c. catsup1 1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. water1 tsp. dry mustard1/4 c. vinegar1/4 tsp. pepper3 drops Tabasco sauce2 Tbsp. brown sugar1 Tbsp. chopped onion2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce Mix all ingredients in saucepan and simmer a few minutes. Serves 16.
