  • milk - 1/2 c
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt
  • water - 1/2 c
  • nutmeg
  • melted butter - 1/4 c
  • plain flour - 1/4 c
  • eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • ground beef
  • dry bread crumbs
  • can beef consomme - 1 oz
  • can crushed fried onion rings - 1 oz

How to make swedish meatballs:

Combine the first 9 ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. In a 3-quart Dutch oven, saute meatballs until browned; drain and set aside. Blend flour in hot drippings, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring.
