Swedish meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 2 c
- egg - 1 item
- self-rising flour - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 2 lb
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
How to make swedish meatballs:
Mix beef, bread crumbs, pepper, egg, salt, soy sauce and milk together. Let set in refrigerator for 1 hour. Shape mixture into walnut size balls. Cook slow in skillet until done. Drain fat and remove meatballs. Blend flour and oil. Cook to boiling, stirring constantly. Should be smooth and bubbly. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.Before serving, fold in sour cream. Serve over rice or pasta.
