Ingredients/Components

  • hamburger
  • soda crackers, crushed - 1/2 pkg
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • poultry seasoning - 1/4 tsp
  • celery - 1/4 c
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • envelope Lipton onion soup mix - 1 item
  • water
  • Kitchen Bouquet for color, if desired - 1 item

How to make swedish meatballs:

In a bowl mix the first 8 ingredients well. Roll into balls about 1 1/2-inches. Place in a large frypan and brown. Drain. Stir in the mushroom and chicken soups. Add the onion soup mix and add the water. Add a little Kitchen Bouquet for color, if desired. Simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes. Serve over potatoes.
