Swedish meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- hamburger
- soda crackers, crushed - 1/2 pkg
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- poultry seasoning - 1/4 tsp
- celery - 1/4 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- envelope Lipton onion soup mix - 1 item
- water
- Kitchen Bouquet for color, if desired - 1 item
How to make swedish meatballs:
In a bowl mix the first 8 ingredients well. Roll into balls about 1 1/2-inches. Place in a large frypan and brown. Drain. Stir in the mushroom and chicken soups. Add the onion soup mix and add the water. Add a little Kitchen Bouquet for color, if desired. Simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes. Serve over potatoes.Recipe from Kathy Stobb.
