Swedish meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 3/4 c
- salt
- flour - 1/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- egg - 1 item
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- fine dry bread crumbs - 3/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- minced parsley - 1 Tbsp
- minced onions - 1/2 c
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
How to make swedish meatballs:
Mix together ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, parsley, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, Worcestershire sauce, egg, milk and onions. Mix well and make into small balls. Brown in oil. Remove meatballs from oil. Stir into fat the flour, paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Stir in boiling water and sour cream gradually.
