Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • small jar grape jelly - 1 item
  • bottle water - 1 item
  • Sauce:1 bottle chili sauce

How to make swedish meatballs:

Sauce:1 bottle chili sauce1 bottle water1 small jar grape jelly Mix together first eight ingredients. Shape into 1-inch meatballs. Heat oil in a frying pan and saute half of the meatballs until browned. Continue to cook until meatballs are done. Repeat with remaining meatballs. Blend in sauce and let cook until well done. Spoon into chafing dish to keep warm.
