Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- brown sugar
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- bread crumbs - 2 c
- ground pork - 1/2 lb
- ground smoked ham - 1 lb
How to make swedish ham balls:
Combine brown sugar, vinegar, water and mustard. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Combine meats, crumbs, eggs and milk. Mix thoroughly. Form into small balls and place in a casserole. Pour brown sugar mixture over meat balls. Bake in slow oven (275°) for 1 1/2 hours. Baste frequently with sauce.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Main dish, Ham.
