Swedish cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 2 c
- heavy cream - 2 c
- unflavored gelatin - 1 tsp
- fresh, cut-up fruit strawberries, raspberries, etc - 2 c
How to make swedish cream:
In a saucepan, mix together the cream, sugar and gelatin. Heat the mixture over low heat until the sugar is dissolved, about 5 minutes.Remove from heat and cool. Stir occasionally to keep film from forming. Stir into sour cream. Add vanilla. Pour into dessert dishes and refrigerate for 8 hours. Top with fruit and serve.
