Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 3/4 c
  • Crisco - 3/4 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • black walnuts - 1 c
  • soda, mixed in 2 tsp - 1 tsp

How to make swedish cookies:

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco. Mix in eggs, salt and soda. Add flour. Mix well and add walnuts. Spoon out on wax paper, making 3 or 4 rolls. Place in refrigerator overnight. Slice and bake at 350° until done. Do not overbake.
