Swedish apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- melted butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 c
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- apples - 1 item
- sliced zucchini, cooked until tender-crisp - 4 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- cinnamon
- cream of tartar
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
How to make swedish apple pie:
Toss together zucchini, lemon juice and salt. Mix rest of ingredients in bowl. Add zucchini and mix well. It will be runny, but that's OK. Dump filling into 9-inch crust and dot with butter.
