Ingredients/Components
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- slices cheese - 4 item
How to make surprise burgers:
Form beef into 8 thin patties. Season. Lay cheese on four patties. Cover with remaining patties and pinch edges together. Brown on one side; turn over and pour sauce over burgers. Simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Baste occasionally.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
