Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- Brownie Frosting recipe follows - 1 item
- Beat well with spoon
- powdered sugar
- butter or margarine, softened - 3 Tbsp
- milk - 2 3
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
How to make super fudgy brownies:
Combine butter or margarine, sugar and vanilla, then add eggs. Beat well with spoon. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edge of pan. Cool in pan. Frost and cut into squares.Brownie Frosting:1/4 c. cocoa1 3/4 c. powdered sugar1/8 tsp. salt3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened2 or 3 Tbsp. milk1/2 tsp. vanilla Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in small bowl.
