Super coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- salad oil - 3/4 c
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- large onion - 1 item
- large bell pepper - 1 item
- sugar or to taste - 3/4 c
- head cabbage large - 1 item
How to make super coleslaw:
Shred cabbage in bowl. Next layer shredded onion and shredded bell pepper. Sprinkle sugar to cover top. Do not stir! Bring other ingredients to a boil. Pour over cabbage while hot. Refrigerate overnight. Do not stir until ready to serve. Serves 12. Stays fresh and crisp 9 to 10 days.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetarian, Picnic.
