Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- hamburger - 3 lb
- onion powder - 1/2 tsp
- liquid smoke - 2 tsp
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- Tender Quick salt - 3 Tbsp
How to make summer sausage:
Mix together. Makes 3 rolls. Wrap each roll in foil with shiny side toward meat. Seal tight. Store in refrigerator for 24 hours. Place in pan with rack. Tilt rack, if possible. Punch with fork 4 to 5 times in bottom end that is down. Bake 90 minutes at 325°.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Summer, Seasonal.
