  • water - 1 c
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • ground beef - 2 lb
  • onion powder - 1/4 tsp
  • liquid smoke
  • mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
  • Tender Quick salt - 2 Tbsp

How to make summer sausage:

Mix well; roll into 3 or 4 sticks. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 24 hours. Unwrap and bake at 300° for 1 hour. These may be frozen and then later sliced thin and served with mustard.
