Sugarless apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch
- water - 1/2 c
- Red Delicious apples - 4 c
- deep dish pie crusts - 2 item
- can frozen apple juice - 1 oz
How to make sugarless apple pie:
Peel and slice apples thin. Cook apples, apple juice and water over medium heat for 8 minutes. Add cornstarch and enough water to make a paste; add to apple mixture. Pour into deep dish pie crust. Top with butter and cinnamon. Put other crust on top; cut slits in top crust. Dot with butter. Bake in a 325° oven for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
