Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- raw peanuts - 4 5
- maple flavoring - 1/2 tsp
How to make sugared peanuts:
Combine sugar and water in large heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add nuts and flavoring. Cook on medium heat; stir constantly, until mixture is dry and peanuts are sugar-coated and crystallized. Place in flat pan and bake in 250° oven about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, checking every 30 minutes. Store in airtight container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Fruit.
