Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • all-purpose flour - 2 c
  • margarine, softened - 1/2 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Combine margarine, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla together. Mix well. Sift flour and baking powder together; stir slowly into mixture. Chill.

Grease hands and cookie sheet. Pinch off dough in amount desired for cookie and roll into ball. Drop onto cookie sheet. Cover cookie balls with wax paper and flatten with bottom of glass. Remove wax paper and bake at 375° for 6 to 8 minutes.
