Sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 2 Tbsp
• salt - 3/4 tsp
• flour
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• oleo - 1/2 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream the Crisco, oleo, sugar, vanilla and egg until fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients. Blend in milk. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet; flatten with bottom of glass which has been greased and dipped in sugar. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes.
