- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- butter - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- cream of tartar - 2 tsp
- salad oil - 1 c
How to make sugar cookies:
Cream butter and sugar. Add next 4 ingredients after measuring. Sift dry ingredients together. Mix well. Roll into balls about like golf balls. Roll ball in sugar and "smoosh" down with a fork or decorative cookie marker or bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned on edges.
