Sugar cookies



  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla extract - 3/4 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • egg - 1 item

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream butter in large mixing bowl. Add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture, blending well. Divide dough into thirds; roll out onto floured surface. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes at 375° until lightly browned.
