Sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• butter - 1 c
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp
• flour, sifted - 3 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cut butter into flour and baking soda as for pie crust.

Beat eggs and vanilla until thick and lemon color. Add sugar, gradually. Combine flour mixture and eggs and mix thoroughly. Roll out dough and cut any shape. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with colored sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in a 350° oven.
