Sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• flour
• soda - 1/2 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• dash of salt - 1 item
• cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
• oil your choice - 1/2 c
• stick oleo or butter I like oleo - 1 item

How to make sugar cookies:

Mix well. Make into small balls (about two cookie sheets). Flatten with buttered juice glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375° on lower shelf about 5 minutes. Then on top shelf until suit. Makes about 50 or more cookies. I put 20 cookies on one cookie sheet.
