sticks unsalted oleo - 2 item
granulated sugar - 1 c
eggs - 2 item
cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
vegetable oil - 1 c
powdered sugar - 1 c
vanilla - 1 tsp
plus 1 to 2 Tbsp - 4 c

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream together oleo, shortening and sugars. Add eggs; beat well. Add flour, cream of tartar and vanilla. Mix well. Drop by 1/2 teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350° oven until brown.

NOTE: Sprinkle with granulated sugar before baking. Don't get too stiff with flour. Remove to rack immediately to cool when done.

A cookie press may be used. I refrigerate dough if I don't cook all at once.
