Sugar "christmas" cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• milk - 2 c
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• baking powder
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c
• flour more or less, you do not want dough to be sticky - 8 c

How to make sugar "christmas" cookies:

Cream the first 3 ingredients together well. Mix in remaining ingredients. Chill dough well overnight. Roll to desired thickness; cut into designs. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes (check bottoms). Frost and decorate. Makes lots!
