Sugar & spice pecans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water
- ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- egg white - 1 item
- ground nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- ground allspice - 1/4 tsp
- 8-9 cups shelled pecan halves
How to make sugar & spice pecans:
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well with spoon. Add pecans; stir until evenly coated. Spread in a greased 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 275° for 50-55 minutes. Remove to waxed paper and break apart while still warm; cool. Store in an airtight container. Yield 9-10 cups.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Fruit.
