Stuffing balls
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- can water - 1/2 item
- sticks celery - 2 item
- loaf good bread
How to make stuffing balls:
Shred or dice bread. Chop onion and celery and saute in butter until soft. Pour over bread. Add 1/2 cup soup (not diluted) and seasonings. Mix well; form into balls. Put into casserole dish.Combine remaining soup with water and heat. Pour over balls and cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove foil. Pour a spoonful of soup over each ball and bake, uncovered, until lightly brown.
