Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- hard-boiled egg - 1 item
- cooked ham - 4 Tbsp
- large bell peppers - 6 item
- buttered crumbs - 1 c
- brown sauce - 1/2 c
How to make stuffed sweet peppers:
Cut tops out of peppers; take out seeds, then drop in hot water and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Plunge in cold water to harden. Cook onion in butter a few minutes. Add rest of the ingredients; mix well and cool. Sprinkle peppers lightly with salt inside.
