Stuffed shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- cracker crumbs - 1 c
- bell pepper - 1 Tbsp
- onion - 3/4 c
- crabmeat - 1 lb
- celery - 3/4 c
- bacon strips - 1 item
- cayenne pepper to taste - 1 item
- to 15 jumbo shrimp - 12 item
How to make stuffed shrimp:
Saute celery, onion and bell pepper in butter. Mix in crab, cracker crumbs, salt, parsley, dry mustard and cayenne pepper to taste. If dry, add a little milk to moisten. Place a heaping tablespoonful of stuffing on top of each shrimp, then wrap with bacon. Broil shrimp, basting with butter, lemon juice and dash of garlic powder.
