Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- chopped onion - 1 item
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- dry red wine - 1/3 c
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- parsley - 1/4 c
- Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 c
- spaghetti sauce - 2 jars
- clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
How to make stuffed shells:
Brown meat, onion and garlic, then drain off fat and let cool. Stir in cheese, crumbs, parsley, egg, salt, pepper and Mozzarella cheese. Cook shells in boiling water and 1 tablespoon of oil and salt until almost tender, approximately 15 minutes. Drain and stuff shells. Pour small amount of sauce on bottom of casserole dish (9 x 13 x 2-inches). Lay shells and mix wine with remaining sauce and pour over top of shells. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake in preheated oven at 400° approximately 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta shells.
