Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- ground beef
- medium onion - 1 item
- slices bread - 3 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 1/2 lb
- spaghetti sauce - 1 qt
- green pepper optional - 1 item
- mushrooms optional - 1 item
- box jumbo shells 24 - 12 oz
How to make stuffed shells:
Cook shells as directed. Brown ground beef and onion. In bowl, mix bread (cubed in small pieces), milk and egg. Add to bowl of bread mixture the meat, 1/2 of the cheese and a small amount of spaghetti sauce. Spray with Pam a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Spread 1/2 cup of spaghetti sauce evenly over the bottom. Fill each shell with meat mixture and place in dish. Pour spaghetti sauce over filled shells. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° until bubbly; sprinkle rest of cheese over top and bake until cheese melts (about 15 minutes).Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta shells.
